The critically acclaimed record peaked at No. 1 on iTunes Philippines, while its carrier single ‘Flowers” continues to deliver numbers
Miley Cyrus’ latest album, Endless Summer Vacation, has taken the Philippine music scene by storm, with the album projected to become one of the top-selling albums in the country this week. During its first day of release, the album climbed to the number one spot on iTunes Philippines, while its lead single “Flowers” also peaked at number one and two on the iTunes and Spotify Philippines charts, respectively.
To complement the album’s release, Miley also premiered the official music video for her latest track, “River,” directed by Jacob Bixenman.
Endless Summer Vacation consists of twelve additional tracks, including Miley’s hit single “Flowers,” which spent six weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Miley shared in a recent clip that she divided the album into two parts – AM and PM – to represent a new day’s potential and the wild side of the evening, respectively. She drew inspiration from the city of Los Angeles, with its nighttime energy and seediness.

The multi-talented artist executive produced the show, where she performs songs from Endless Summer Vacation, including “Flowers,” as well as seven other tracks from the album, a chart-topping classic, and a special performance with Rufus Wainwright. The “Backyard Sessions” began in 2012, and fans quickly fell in love with the experience of watching Miley and her band perform in an intimate outdoor setting, making the “Backyard Sessions” a hallmark series. “Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)” continues this tradition.
