From toiling as a construction worker, beautician, and sari-sari store proprietor to gracing the stage as a contestant on “It’s Showtime’s” Miss Q&A segment, Diwata’s journey eventually led him to open a humble stall offering steaming bowls of pares.
Today, he’s a social media sensation adored by countless netizens for his warm demeanor and iconic pares dishes—drawing long queues of patrons eager to indulge in his overloaded meals, featuring pares accompanied by bottomless rice, soup, and a soft drink, all for just P100.
