Live on Kapamilya Strong, six (6) artists including Maymay, Eduard, Gary V, Arjo, Donny, and Francine renewed their contract to ABS-CBN as they decided to stay as a Kapamilya, on February 26.
Executives of ABS-CBN joined the Kapamilya Strong event and welcome the artists, this is led by chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes, TV Production and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi, head of finance Rick Tan, and ABS-CBN Films managing director Olivia Lamasan.
However, upon signing the contract, the artists were also surprised by their love ones and people close to their hearts in a video greeting.
Different projects and expectations of the 6 artist were also discussed as they set their fresh contracts.
“Ang sarap lang sa feeling na andiyan yung tahanan mo, at ipaparamdam sa’yo na secure ka at gagabayan ka kahit ano mangyari,” Maymay said
She also added that she is happy to be a part of Abs-cbn and fight through all the challenges ahead and rise again.
Francine mentioned that she was offered projects from other networks but chose to stay as she consider this network not just a company but a family.
Moreover, Arjo was emotional when he was about to sign his contract as he was so happy to be there and he felt like he was home once again.
“I am a Kapamilya. I am born to be a Kapamilya, and I will stay here no matter what” He added
The event was hosted by Robi Domingo and the supporters who bought tickets were also seen in the event.
