Joy, laughter, and heartwarming family moments delighted viewers of ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye, “Marry Me, Marry You,” as its pilot episode made its highly anticipated premiere on Monday (September 13) and trended on Twitter Philippines.
The first episode of the series, which stars Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez, was filled with good vibes and tear-jerker moments as it centered on the tight-knit relationship of Camille (Janine) and her three loving godmothers Elvie, Marvi, and Paula (Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, and Sunshine Dizon).
Viewers sang the praises of the episode on social media, commending its stars, touching storyline, and lessons about unconditional love and family.
“I already watched the advanced episode on iWantTFC, but I had to watch it again on Kapamilya Channel, kudos @DreamscapePH. The series is so refreshing and very light but still very heartwarming,” said Twitter user @denydaveee.
“This new teleserye of ABS-CBN is just so good. This is very poignant and a feel-good kind of teleserye. It will make you laugh, cry, and learn a lot of lessons. All the elements of a great series are in Marry Me Marry You. KUDOS TO ABS-CBN!” said @JustBGYO.
“It’s nice to see the refreshing roles of miss Sunshine, miss Picache, miss Vina. I love their collab! ABS-CBN never disappoints in delivering quality teleseryes. The flow is very heartwarming and we can really learn valuable lessons from this series!” commented Roniel Estaniel on YouTube.
Twitter user @mikgeloJKakinte posted, “Marry Me Marry You is beautiful! It gives off K-drama feels and the whole family will be able to relate to the story. This is the kind of light teleserye we need right now #MMMYFamily.”
In the succeeding episodes of “Marry Me, Marry You,” Camille and Andrei (Paulo) will meet for the first time and will grow curious of each other’s family backgrounds after they get involved in a road accident. Andrei will make an extra effort to do research on Camille’s identity after he finds a bracelet of hers that is identical to the one he owned as a child.
