Marc Nelson and Christi McGarry are set to embark on an exploration of Mexico’s breathtaking waters, picturesque landscapes, and delectable cuisine in a two-part special of the travel show “Beached,” airing on June 22 and 29 (Sunday) at 8 pm on Metro Channel.
Their adventure unfolds in the Mexican peninsula of Baja California, renowned for its stunning beaches, lush forests, and expansive deserts.
In a teaser released by Metro Channel, Christi describes their current destination as having “diverse geography, captivating shorelines, and pristine turquoise waters.”
In the first part of the Mexico special, the hosts encounter grey whales, experience night paddle boarding, embark on mountain biking excursions, indulge in Mexican culinary delights, and engage in various other exciting activities.
Marc highlights Baja California as a paradise for beach enthusiasts, stating, “For anyone who loves the beach and ocean, this place offers everything. From freediving, kiteboarding, scuba diving, to paddle boarding, and much more.”
In the second episode of “Beached: Mexico,” Marc and Christi have the exhilarating opportunity to swim with whale sharks, the world’s largest fish. They also visit La Paz Malecon, known for its rich marine life and vibrant city atmosphere with trendy bars and restaurants.
The intrepid hosts explore the picturesque islands of Los Islotes, part of the UNESCO biosphere reserve and home to colonies of sea lions. Their itinerary also includes Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, renowned as one of Mexico’s premier diving destinations.
