Today marked a triumphant moment for Nanay Ruby, hailing from Manila, as she clinched the coveted jackpot prize of ₱750,000 in the game show “Isip Bata.” She achieved this feat by correctly guessing all three answers provided by Argus during the jackpot round.
“Nagpapasalamat ako kasi ito ang magtutustos sa tuition ng anak ko. Bilang isang single mom na walang regular na trabaho, napakahalaga nito para sa amin. Kanina, nagdasal ako na sana manalo ako dahil ang pangarap ng anak ko ay makapagtapos ng kolehiyo,” shared an emotional Nanay Ruby.
The atmosphere in the studio was filled with joy as both the hosts and staff celebrated Nanay Ruby’s incredible win, especially as her answers aligned perfectly with Argus in the jackpot round. The final question revolved around the type of toothpaste they used, and they both chose the answer “nakakapagpabango ng hininga.”
Nanay Ruby’s victory was a heartfelt answer to her prayers, as it brought her daughter’s aspirations of completing her college education within reach.
Vice, the host of the segment, had a strong belief that Nanay Ruby was destined to win the jackpot prize after a few months of hosting the show. She remarked, “Ang ₱750,000 na ito ay resulta ng ilang araw, linggo, at buwan na pagsisikap sa ‘Isip Bata.’ Hindi ito nakuha ng madali. Tuwing naglalaro kami, ipinagkakatiwala namin sa tadhana kung sino ang magiging palaro.”
In total, Nanay Ruby brought home ₱761,000, including the initial ₱1,000 she received at the beginning of the segment and the ₱10,000 prize for entering the jackpot round.
Aside from Nanay Ruby’s incredible win, studio contestant Jennilyn also secured ₱108,000 in the game “Rampanalo,” while RG Mia earned a coveted spot in the semi-finals of “Tawag ng Tanghal.”
