The sorrowful song “Sikulo,” a collaboration between rising OPM musicians Maki, Angela Ken, and Nameless Kids vocalist Nhiko Sabiniano, has been released.
The tiresome adventure of two lovers who must unavoidably run in circles is chronicled in the alternative-pop track from ABS-CBN’s Tarsier Records.
The melancholy song, which depicts the truth of a relationship that will eventually end, was written by Maki, Angela, and Nhiko.
It comes after “HBD,” Maki’s previous single, which has received over a million Spotify plays. Conversely, his “Tanong” EP has amassed nearly 90 million plays on Spotify alone.
The song “Alas Diyes,” which Nhiko and ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo co-produced, was released late last year. “Sikulo” is Angela’s most recent release. The musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” which just ended, featured Angela.
Nhiko wrote the song “Still So In Love,” which was released as a new single by the indie-pop alternative band Nameless Kids in January. Maki’s biggest hit to song, “Saan?,” was a collaboration between Maki and Nhiko before “Sikulo.”more than 65 million times on Spotify as of right now.
