Released today via Island Records Philippines, the young producer and singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo has released an 80’s-inspired track titled “Elizabeth” rendering the song a colorful and fun pulsating beats and retro-futurist sheen.
Zack reveals his latest single is based on his admiration to Liza Soberano, the title is even related to the Soberano’s real name outside of showbiz. The Nangangamba singer also shared how he wrote ton of songs about her before finding his rhythm in writing songs through his personal experiences, “She’s such an inspiration to a lot of people including me, who got started with a craft I love to do”, alt-pop RnB artist stated.

“The song is about a person who gives you mixed feelings, showing interests but throws you off from time to time”, Zack said. The song gives us a different side of Zack: A distinct range, a whole new way with words and infectious storytelling.
Journey to Elizabeth
Zack admitted it was his first time releasing a song with this style and said he had fun, “I wanted to go for something mellow having the foundation from the original one but has a ‘slow dance’ feel to it instead of going full ballad”, he said. Zack incorporated plenty of modified samples for the drum tracks and a lot of 80s synths and effects, and finally “Elizabeth” was created.
