LISA first teased “Moonlit Floor” on social media last month, and the song made its live debut this past weekend during her performance at Global Citizen Festival in New York City. The audience’s excitement mirrored the buzz online, as fans worldwide celebrated her first solo festival performance. “Moonlit Floor” follows the success of LISA’s recent hit singles “New Woman,” featuring GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Rosalía, and “Rockstar.” The latter skyrocketed to the top of the charts, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Global Ex. US Chart, #4 on the Billboard Global 200, and #8 on Spotify’s Global Daily Chart. “Rockstar” also dominated in more than 20 markets worldwide and held the #1 spot on Spotify Thailand, LISA’s home country, for 10 consecutive days. The official music video for “Rockstar,” directed by Henry Scholfield and choreographed by Sean Bankhead, has amassed 194 million views to date, hitting #1 on YouTube’s global weekly chart.
Adding to the excitement, LISA made a triumphant return to the VMA stage last month, delivering a medley of “New Woman” and “Rockstar.” She also took home the award for Best K-Pop for “Rockstar,” making history as the first solo artist to win in that category multiple times.
