Music Performers from 9 countries Creatively Reinterpret Legendary Party Anthem, “Boom Boom Pow” to Captivate Audiences Worldwide
LG Electronics (LG) recently launched a new marketing campaign that highlights the powerful audio performance and stylish design of its LG XBOOM speakers. The campaign kicked off with the Boom Boom Pow Festa, a unique music festival celebrating the iconic Black Eyed Peas’ hit, “Boom Boom Pow.” Released in 2009, this legendary party anthem topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 12 consecutive weeks. At this vibrant event, street performers from around the world reinterpreted the classic track, bringing it to life through LG’s powerful XBOOM party speakers.
Globally recognized as a party essential, “Boom Boom Pow” has inspired partygoers of all ages with its infectious energy and booming bass. Street performers in nine different countries showcased their unique renditions of the song, all supported by the exceptional sound quality of the LG XBOOM. The festival also featured performances by rising global music stars like Brazil’s Delacruz, who performed at the iconic Escadaria Selarón in Rio de Janeiro, and The Juans, a popular Filipino pop rock band.
Powered by LG XBOOM party speakers, these electrifying performances were streamed live on LG’s Global YouTube channel as part of a two-hour virtual concert. Additionally, behind-the-scenes videos that captured the creative process of the artists exploring LG XBOOM’s dynamic power and audio quality were also made available on the channel.
The excitement extended to TikTok with the launch of the “Boom Boom Pow” dance challenge, where participants were invited to show off their best moves alongside popular creators, bringing the same explosive energy that LG XBOOM speakers deliver.
