PHINMA Education partnered with Lenovo to consolidate all its devices across its institutions into a unified ecosystem.

Only one in four Filipino students who begin first grade go on to complete a tertiary degree—a sobering statistic that underscores the pressing need for accessible, affordable, and quality education. Determined to change this reality, PHINMA Education—a private educational network—offers college and university-level courses at subsidized rates across its 12 institutions in the Philippines and Indonesia.
To date, over 144,000 students have benefitted from PHINMA Education’s mission to uplift underprivileged youth through affordable learning. Many of these students are the first in their families to pursue higher education, earning either degrees or diplomas through over 110 programs available across the network.
Streamlining Tech for Smarter Learning
To support its expanding operations and deliver better learning outcomes, PHINMA Education partnered with Lenovo to create a unified, campus-wide IT ecosystem. The goal? To equip faculty and students with modern tools that foster engaging, technology-powered education.
One of the organization’s biggest hurdles was managing a mix of technology brands across campuses, which led to inconsistent IT support and increased operational complexity. Through Lenovo’s reliable and centralized system, PHINMA Education has been able to simplify device management, speed up decision-making, cut costs, and facilitate smoother cloud migration.
Digital-Ready Classrooms, Future-Ready Graduates
With a focus on workforce readiness, PHINMA Education implemented the Lenovo EdVision program—a platform designed to help educators integrate digital tools into their teaching. This initiative enables personalized learning, streamlined curriculum development, and improved access to digital resources.
Complementing this is Lenovo’s Device as a Service (DaaS) offering, which ensures optimal resource allocation and reduced downtime, allowing teachers and administrators to focus more on delivering quality education.
A Growing Partnership for Impact
In just two years, PHINMA Education has deployed nearly 2,000 Lenovo devices, with another 1,000 devices scheduled for rollout by 2025. Looking ahead, the organization plans to adopt Lenovo’s TruScale Device as a Service and Managed Services—further enhancing its infrastructure with scalable, reliable, and always-on IT support.
As this partnership deepens, PHINMA Education continues to expand its reach in Southeast Asia, guided by its mission to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for thousands of students—empowered through education and supported by technology.
