In alignment with their commitment to prioritize the safety of partner drivers, Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, recently collaborated with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). They handed over essential driving equipment, including a brand-new Honda Click motorcycle from Lalamove’s Panalomove Partner Agribank, an insulated Lalabag, a Lalamove helmet, a Lalajacket, and a first-aid kit.
Djon Nacario, Managing Director of Lalamove Philippines, expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “This is just the beginning of our collaborative initiatives with MMDA. Our efforts are dedicated to supporting MMDA’s objectives of strengthening driver safety education and enforcing regulations for all riders, with a special focus on our Lalamove Partner Drivers.
Nacario mentioned that Lalamove Philippines is eagerly anticipating the launch of the MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy, scheduled for this quarter. The academy aims to instill discipline among motorists throughout the metro. Nacario expressed confidence that the MMDA’s driver training academy will play a significant role in enhancing road safety for Lalamove Partner Drivers, motorists, and pedestrians alike.
Upon completion, the MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy will have the capacity to accommodate 100 participants per batch. It will be equipped with a clinic, comfortable shower rooms, and dining areas to cater to potential students’ needs.
