Former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contestant Keisha Paulo is celebrating the joy of finding true love with her new single, “AKIN” released under Star Music.
This romantic track captures the bliss of genuine love and the desire to spend a lifetime with a special someone. Keisha, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend and co-writer Jershon Corpuz, expressed their enthusiasm for creating a song about authentic love.
“We were deeply inspired to write this. It speaks to the true love everyone deserves. Nowadays, we often hear songs about heartache and longing. What if we focus on true love instead? This is our way of highlighting real, lasting affection,” Keisha shared during her guest appearance on “iWant ASAP” last Sunday (July 7).
“AKIN” follows Keisha’s debut single “Hanggang Ngayon Na Lang,” which provided a glimpse into her upcoming album set for release later this year.
In 2021, Keisha competed in the sixth season of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” where she became a quarter-finalist and earned acclaim for her renditions of OPM classics such as “Ikaw Ang Aking Mahal,” “Himig ng Pag-ibig,” and “Anak.”
