ABS-CBN Films’ latest release, “A Very Good Girl,” has enjoyed an exceptionally strong opening day, raking in over P10 million in ticket sales and selling over 32,000 tickets. This remarkable performance makes it the biggest Filipino movie of 2023.
Currently screening in more than 250 cinemas nationwide, “A Very Good Girl” is captivating audiences across the country, receiving acclaim for its storytelling and the exceptional acting of the cast.
Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly de Leon, the lead stars of the film, took the time to visit various cinemas in Metro Manila on the movie’s opening day, which fell on Wednesday, September 27. They expressed their gratitude to fans and showed their appreciation for the warm reception.
Looking ahead, the film’s lead stars are set to embark on a journey to the United States for the Hollywood premiere of “A Very Good Girl” on October 4 at The Silver Screen, Pacific Design Theater in Los Angeles, California. US theatrical screenings will commence on October 6.
In addition to the US release, the movie is scheduled to hit theaters next month in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nigeria, and the Middle East.
The ensemble cast of “A Very Good Girl” includes Chie Filomeno, Jake Ejercito, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, Ana Abad Santos, Nour Hooshmand, Donna Cariaga, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero, and Angel Aquino.
