Kaspersky Safe Kids has achieved ‘Approved’ certifications from AV-TEST and AV-Comparatives, esteemed independent testing organizations, for its exceptional ability to block inappropriate content. According to AV-TEST, Kaspersky Safe Kids achieved a 100% success rate in blocking adult content on the Windows platform, marking the solution as the sole vendor to accomplish this since 2015. Meanwhile, AV-Comparatives certified Kaspersky Safe Kids as the only solution out of five participants to meet stringent criteria consistently across tests conducted in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
AV-TEST evaluates parental control solutions against 7,500 websites spanning six languages and 13 categories, including adult content, violence, and weapons. AV-Comparatives tests involve 1,000 adult category websites and 100 child-friendly sites, emphasizing a 98% detection rate without false positives or critical flaws.
In the AV-TEST Parental Control Test 2023, Kaspersky Safe Kids excelled with a 100% adult content blocking rate on Windows, also demonstrating strong performance in categories like violence and gambling, with an overall average blocking rate of 92.20%. On Android, it achieved a 99.09% adult content blocking rate. This marked the eighth consecutive time Kaspersky Safe Kids received the Approved Certificate for ‘Parental Control Test’, underscoring its unmatched consistency in the market.
In the AV-Comparatives 2024 ‘Parental Control Certification’, Kaspersky Safe Kids effectively blocked 98.1% of pornographic websites on Windows, alongside zero false positives. The solution was praised for its comprehensive monitoring and control functionalities, including swift implementation of console changes on the child’s device.
