“For the final week, we didn’t receive the final script. It was that secretive. We would arrive for filming, and the scenes for the day would be handed to us then and there. It was a completely different way of working, and I felt it heightened the suspense. It led to raw emotions and high stress. I believe it worked well,” she explained.
Playing the role of the middle child resonated deeply with Kaila, forging a strong connection with Bettina. She takes pride in knowing that her character has struck a chord with audiences, offering solace to some.
“I found some of Bettina’s lines in her last monologue relatable, being a middle child myself. I was also thrilled to receive tweets from viewers who could relate to Bettina and her journey. Some even said that hearing or watching that scene healed their inner child. It’s incredibly fulfilling, and I’m proud and grateful to have had the opportunity to do that,” she shared.
