J&T Express Honored by DepEd for Commitment to Education

J&T Express, the Philippines’ leading logistics and delivery service provider, received recognition from the Department of Education (DepEd)Division of Lapu-Lapu City during the Annual Stakeholders’ Summit. This acknowledgment highlights the company’s dedication to promoting quality education and contributing to the development of Filipino youth.

The award was presented on December 4 at the Crown Regency Hotel and Suites in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. It follows J&T Express’s participation in DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela kick-off program earlier this year. In July, the company provided school supplies and materials to enhance the facilities of Poo Elementary School on Olango Island, benefiting over 100 students ahead of the school year’s reopening.

As part of its commitment to giving back to communities in need, J&T Express extends its gratitude to its employees and partners for their unwavering support. This initiative underscores the company’s focus on delivering meaningful actions that enhance educational opportunities and fulfill its corporate social responsibility (CSR).

“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from DepEd. Joining DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela reflects our dedication to supporting both local and national government initiatives. At J&T Express, we are committed to not only serving our customers but also creating better opportunities for students and local communities,” said Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines.

Through its J&T Cares CSR initiative, J&T Express continues to exemplify the Bayanihan spirit, extending its care and support beyond logistics services. The company remains steadfast in connecting with and uplifting the communities it serves, ensuring a lasting impact on the lives of Filipinos.
