The track captures the sound of quiet isolation, trauma, and healing

Rising multi-hyphenate JERGE is proving there’s more to him than viral TikTok fame. Known for his comedic skits and relatable content, the fast-rising artist is carving out his space in the music scene—most recently earning a spot in the prestigious Spotify RADAR Philippines Class of 2025. This recognition places him among the most promising Filipino acts today, joining the ranks of Dilaw, Ena Mori, BGYO, ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, Costa Cashman, and others.
Grateful and overwhelmed, JERGE shared his reflections on Instagram:
“Music has been my way to tell a story, express my emotions, and connect with people since day one. And now, with Spotify and the RADAR program, I get to share my world with even more listeners.”
Further solidifying his place in the industry, JERGE recently dropped his latest single “Kalul’wa,” released under evosound PH. The track is a hauntingly delicate blend of ethereal vocals and acoustic textures, exploring themes of trauma, release, and the journey toward healing.
“Kalul’wa is deeply personal,” JERGE reveals.
“With everything I’ve been through these past few years, I’ve realized there are things you need to let go of—no matter how much you love them. This song is about accepting that not everything is meant to stay. Sometimes, letting go is the only way to protect your peace.”
Produced by Paulo Agudelo, the single balances sorrow and serenity, immersing listeners in a cinematic soundscape that feels both piercing and cathartic. But the path to completing Kalul’wa wasn’t without hurdles.
“I didn’t even have a guitar when I started writing,” JERGE recalls.
“I used MIDI on my laptop to create the demo. When everything was ready, I worked with Sir Paulo in the studio to bring the song to life.”
Marking a new chapter in his creative evolution, “Kalul’wa” reflects JERGE’s growth not only as a musician, but also as a storyteller willing to confront vulnerability head-on.
“Kalul’wa” is now available on all major digital music platforms worldwide via evosound PH.
