I Want To Share Foundation is honored to be accredited by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to fuel their collective mission to give every child a fighting chance against the Big C.
The I Want To Share Foundation (IWTS) proudly announces its accreditation by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a globally renowned institution in the fight against childhood cancer. This prestigious recognition is a significant milestone for IWTS and the children it serves across the Philippines.
“We now carry the stamp of St. Jude,” said Sheila Romero, Founder and CEO of IWTS, after attending the ALSAC APAC Conference in Yokohama earlier this year. The Philippine General Hospital (PGH), a long-time partner of IWTS, endorsed the foundation to St. Jude, bolstering its credibility. St. Jude’s recognition further validates IWTS’s commitment to supporting children battling cancer and enhances its mission on a global scale.
“We are deeply honored to collaborate with an esteemed institution like St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Their commitment to ensuring that no child goes untreated aligns perfectly with our vision,” Romero said of the partnership.
For over 11 years, IWTS has championed early detection and treatment of childhood cancer, providing unwavering support to pediatric patients at PGH. Through its advocacy, resources, and community efforts, IWTS continues to give children a fighting chance at survival.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, since its founding in 1962, has been a beacon of hope for families facing some of the most challenging cancer diagnoses. This partnership signals an even brighter future as IWTS and St. Jude unite in their shared mission to combat cancer among Filipino children.
This collaboration is also supported by the American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC), established in 1957 to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude. ALSAC’s commitment to sustaining the hospital’s life-saving efforts complements IWTS’s vision and local initiatives.
Earlier this year, IWTS celebrated the graduation of 150 children who successfully completed their cancer treatments at its annual “CAn Beat It” ceremony. For the past eight years, IWTS has supported approximately 4,500 children through their cancer journey, offering hope and guidance.
In 2023, IWTS held its first Charity Gala at Shangri-La The Fort, raising P19 million to fund a Childhood Cancer Helpline. The event featured a fashion show, where young cancer survivors graced the runway wearing couture creations by top designers. Following this success, IWTS is already planning its next Charity Gala in September 2025, expected to be another evening of inspiration, generosity, and community.
As IWTS moves forward, Romero and her team continue to share a powerful message: with hope, resources, and love, every child can have a fighting chance. IWTS remains a symbol of resilience, dedicated to beating cancer, one child at a time.
