The newest segment of “It’s Showtime,” called “Isip Bata” has become a hit among viewers and landed the top spot on Twitter’s list last Monday (Feb.20).
In this segment, 20 adult contestants, or “madlang ‘isip bata’,” have to guess the answers of 50 “madlang kids” to the same question via multiple choice. Additionally, a set of “Batang Cute-po” named Argus, Kulot, Lucas, and Colyn will also share their answers to the questions.
At the end of the round, only one contestant will proceed to the jackpot round, “Ap-Pair Tayo.” Here, the adult contestant must choose a “Batang Cute-po,” and they will have to match all three multiple-choice answers to win the P50,000 jackpot prize. If the contestant is unable to match all the answers, each same answer is equivalent to P10,000. The contestant chooses their answers first, and then the chosen “Batang Cute-po” answers the same set of questions.
During the first episode, 20 celebrity moms played the game as the “madlang ‘isip bata’,” and comedian Moi Bien was able to match one answer with Kulot, taking home P20,000, including the P10,000 she won from the first round.
Netizens have praised the segment’s production value, format, and entertainment from the “Batang Cute-po.” In other news, last Tuesday (Feb.21), Darren Espanto was introduced as the newest judge of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
