When Halle Berry won the Best Actress Award for her role in Monster Ball at the 2002 Oscars, one of the person she thanked was Ivana Chubback, her acting coach.
Ivana Chubback is one of the most in-demand acting coach in Hollywood. She has trained a lot of Academy award winners and nomimees like Jim Carrey, Charlize Theron, Beyonce, Jessica Biel, Eva Mendez and Brad Pitt to name a few.
Rahyan Carlos, the Star Magic Artist Training Head, invited Ivana to conduct her workshop for his master teaching class. Her technique called the Chubbuck technique she personally taught to famous Hollywood actors and actress will be also taught during the Acting Workshop for Star Magic talents Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca, Aiko Solon, Dimples, Romana, Koreen Medina, Arron Villaflor, Ynna Asistio, Arjo Atayde, Xian Lim, Sm Milby and Piolo Pascual.
Other non-Star Magic artists that will join the workshop are Liza Dino, Carla Martinez, Issa Litton, Nico Policarpio, Christian Bables, Roj Gealon and Suzette Ranillo.

Director Rahyan trained under Ivana’s wing and was given a certificate as the only Filipino representative authorized to teach the Chubback Technique in the Philippines.
He will be conducting an intensive work which is open to the public for amateurs and professional actors/actress. 3 categories namely Introductory Class, Advance Class and the Master Class. Registration starts on March 22-23. These will be limited slots slots so hurry up if you interested.
