“Idol Philippines” finalist Lance Busa draws the line between healthy and harmful relationships in his upcoming single titled “Sa Aking Mundo,” set to drop this Friday (August 21).
“Sometimes you don’t need to try so hard to be loved,” said Lance about the message of his debut offering under Star Music.
The neo-soul track “Sa Aking Mundo” is another masterpiece of songwriter-producer Kiko “KIKX” Salazar and part of his “After Dark ‘The Final Hour’” EP in celebration of his 10th year in the music industry.
“This track is a representation of the introvert side of me. I’ve written this originally as a letter to myself, a reminder that people may either inspire you or drain you — so I need to pick wisely and protect myself from them,” KIKX shared.
He also commended Lance for his interpretation of “Sa Aking Mundo,” who he said was very fitting of the song’s laidback mood. “The voice of Lance Busa sends the right amount of smoothness and tension. I am very definite that this one fits him well.”
Lance finished in third place in the culmination of “Idol Philippines” in 2019. Prior to this, he won the first edition of Michael Bolton’s reality singing competition “Bolt of Talent” in 2017.
Guard your heart against a toxic love and listen to Lance’s “Sa Aking Mundo,” out on various digital streaming platforms this Friday (August 21). For more details, like Star Music on Facebook (www.facebook.com/starmusicph), and follow it on Twitter and Instagram (@StarMusicPH).
