Once again, the international e-Sports scene is growing bigger and stronger as we speak!
Huawei Technologies Philippines Inc. represented Mr. Richard Chang and Edison Le recently partnered with World Cyber Arena for launching of THE FACEOFF e-Sports DOTA2 Game in Bonifacio High Street Activity Center, promoting Huawei ViDPlus mobile APP service and Huawei Nova2i.
According to Mr. Richard Chang, head of Huawei Philippines Consumer Cloud Service, ViDPlus is the Philippines’ latest video streaming servic which was created by Huawei Technologies Inc. You can enjoy the hottest Hollywood movies, funny videos, music videos, as well as highly rated documentaries and the best of Chinese entertainment. Geared to cater all walks of life in the Philippines, ViDPlus also offers world-class children’s content for you and your children to cherish the precious moments together.
As they prepare for this major step in International e-Sports, they gave everyone a glimpse of what could happen here in on our local scene. THE FACE-OFF presents us 2 of the most heated rivalries in the DOTA2 platform, namely the dominating Execration, and the surging prowess, Happy Feet. The excitement also cannot be contained as Rikki “Riku” Quiapon and Justin “Vill” Villaseran interviewed the teams on-stage. With a “Bawi-bawi din” hit from Execration, Happy Feet’s reply hinted a VERY nostalgic comeback, “Di pa kasi nagmi-mid yung SF ni Julz” and the crowd goes wild!
The results were astounding as usual, both teams bringing their A-game and delivering what the crowd was expecting: HYPE! The match ended with 2-1 in favor of Execration as their teamwork is proven rock-solid! Alas, Happy Feet still has the magic of their member Julz with his mastery over the hero Shadow Fiend. I can still feel the goosebumps down my spine as watched these two teams battle it out last Friday! We hope to see more from these teams, as well as other international teams in the coming days!
