In addition to the growing number of technology-related establishments in SM Fairview, Huawei recently opened its seventh brand shop at the Cyberzone.
The new shop takes after the brand’s signature highly experiential style, marked with interactive areas to help shoppers discover and try the new devices at their own pace. Huawei’s Brand Shops are characterized by a premium and sleek yet comfortable look and feel, designed to make shopping an enjoyable experience.
“This move aims to bring Huawei even closer to our customers who are looking for better technological options to suit their needs and lifestyle. We are committed to bringing our customers nothing but the latest in mobile technology,” said Charles Wu, Huawei Device Philippines country manager.
A blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony was held before customers were able to explore what’s inside.
The event was graced by brand ambassadress Jasmine Curtis-Smith where she met fans and posed for groufies using the latest flagship phone – Ascend P7.
Equipped with an 8MP 5P non-spherical lens front-facing camera, the Ascend P7 is especially designed to capture the perfect panoramic selfie or groufie shot.
The Ascend P7 also embodies excellent craftsmanship with edge as the sleek unit features a high-powered combination of 4G LTE and Huawei’s unique dual antenna, which greatly improves signal reception and allows users to enjoy unlimited media viewing. The 6.5mm-thick, five-inch full-HD phone also provides enhanced strength and durability against everyday use with Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 front and rear covers.
In the past month, Huawei also opened brand shops in SM City Bacolod and SM Lanang Premier, Davao City, bringing their products closer to customers outside Metro Manila.
“Our expansion here in the Philippines will continue as we roll out new products that cater to what people need. Aside from making our presence felt all over Metro Manila, we’re also targeting key cities nationwide, especially Cebu, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao where we have recently opened brand shops. We’re all about making life better through technology, powered by a commitment to ‘Make It Possible’. And as new needs arise, we will cater to that,” Wu said.
Huawei recently joined the ranks of the world’s 100 top brands in Interbrand’s 2014 Annual Best Global Brands Report. The world’s leading brand consultancy cited Huawei’s “technological prowess in both its consumer products as well as in its enterprise solutions”, better positioning the brand to dominate key areas of the IT market.
