HR Leaders Gather: Bossjob’s Sorsogon Summit Recap

Bossjob, the fastest-growing AI-powered mobile chat-first recruitment platform, achieved a significant milestone with the successful conclusion of the First-Ever Kasanggayahan HR Summit in Sorsogon Province. Held at Villa Isabel Hotel, the event brought together hundreds of participants, including HR professionals, MSME owners, and local leaders. The summit was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the City Government of Sorsogon, the Provincial Government of Sorsogon, Sorsogon City BPLO Chief Rodel Ferreras, and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sorsogon, led by Provincial Director Ma. Lourdes Pancho.

Ma. Lourdes Pancho expressed her enthusiasm for Bossjob’s expansion into the province, highlighting its potential to significantly benefit Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by streamlining recruitment processes. “We are excited about Bossjob’s presence in Sorsogon. It’s a game-changer for our business sector, and DTI is committed to supporting Bossjob’s initiatives to empower MSMEs in the province,” she said.

Keynote Speaker Highlights the Role of HR in Business Growth

The summit featured keynote speaker Darwin Rivers, a renowned HR professional and founder of the Philippine HR Group. Rivers shared valuable insights on the “4 E’s” of effective employee management, which are:

  1. Employee Engagement
  2. Employee Enablement
  3. Employee Satisfaction
  4. Employee Experience

He emphasized that while many organizations prioritize employee engagement, they often overlook the equally crucial areas of enablement, satisfaction, and overall experience. Rivers’ message resonated with the audience, inspiring HR professionals and business owners to adopt a more comprehensive approach to managing employees.

Bossjob’s Role in Empowering MSMEs

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Feby Joy Llosala-Luneza, Growth Director of Bossjob, who thanked the local government units and partner organizations for their support. Bossjob’s Sales Manager for Expansion, Michelle Ayo, gave an insightful presentation on how the platform can revolutionize recruitment for MSMEs by providing cost-effective, AI-driven solutions.

“Our mission is to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers in the most efficient way possible. Bossjob is here to support the growth and success of businesses in Sorsogon,” said Llosala-Luneza.
