About Hotel101’s new HappyRoom global look; with the AI (Artificial Intelligence) designed Hotel101 Banig accent design; Hotel101-Cebu Mactan Airport project to be the first to adopt the new HappyRoom global look
Hotel101-Cebu Mactan Airport will pioneer the implementation of Hotel101’s new global version of the signature HappyRoom, a standardized 21-square-meter space. The design of the new Hotel101 global look prioritizes construction and operational efficiency by incorporating modular furniture, fixtures, and prefabricated bathrooms. With a focus on technology, Hotel101 aims to become a leader in innovative hotel chains throughout its value chain. The upcoming release of the Hotel101 App will integrate a fully automated self-check-in system with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities.
In terms of aesthetics, Hotel101 has chosen the traditional Filipino “banig,” a handwoven mat, to create its signature look. The banig holds deep cultural significance as a gathering place for families, fostering lasting connections and cherished memories. By incorporating banig patterns and colors, Hotel101 projects worldwide will evoke a sense of happiness and provide a touch of Filipino heritage.
The design of the modern banig was crafted by artificial intelligence (AI), symbolizing Hotel101’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
Edgar Injap Sia II, Chairman of DoubleDragon Corporation and Hotel101 Global, expressed his confidence in Hotel101’s ability to optimize modern technology within the global hospitality industry. With the standardized 21-square-meter HappyRooms and asset-light concept, Hotel101 is positioned to lead the way in offering consistent guest experiences worldwide.
As previously announced, Hotel101’s inventory pipeline includes prime titled land sites in Cebu, Libis, Boracay, Palawan, and Bohol, which are projected to generate revenues of P18.14 billion. This estimate excludes the anticipated dollar revenues from Hotel101’s overseas projects.
Hotel101 adopts a dynamic pricing strategy for its room rates, similar to airline tickets, where prices fluctuate based on real-time supply and demand for the selected booking dates.
The Asset Light Hotel101 concept allows DoubleDragon to generate revenue and income through two stages: the pre-selling of HappyRooms and the long-term recurring revenue from hotel operations after project completion.
