Global tech leader HONOR has announced that its upcoming HONOR Magic7 Series will be powered by Qualcomm Technologies’ advanced Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform. At the Snapdragon Summit 2024, HONOR unveiled its ambitious plans to develop an AI-first ecosystem. The company showcased several innovative AI features, including the industry’s first on-device AI Agent designed for an open ecosystem and real-time NPU-based graphics rendering for mobile gaming. HONOR also offered a sneak peek at the sleek new design of its flagship device.

Autopilot AI for Mobile: Introducing the First AI Agent for an Open Ecosystem
The HONOR Magic7 Series will debut the industry’s first on-device AI Agent tailored for an open ecosystem. Responding to simple text or voice prompts, the AI Agent can perform tasks like ordering takeout on behalf of the user. With user consent, it can learn preferences, such as coffee choices, and make personalized decisions—like ordering coffee with coconut milk—streamlining daily routines and enhancing user convenience.
The HONOR Magic7 Series’ AI Agent breaks new ground in convenience by allowing users to manage unwanted subscriptions across various apps with a single command, seamlessly bridging the gap between apps and services. This versatile AI can assist with tasks such as travel planning, ticket booking, calendar management, notifications, and cross-app file transfers. Launching with MagicOS 9.0, the AI Agent redefines convenience, marking the start of the Autopilot AI era.

At the Snapdragon Summit, HONOR showcased its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to build an AI-first ecosystem that redefines connectivity, interaction, and performance. Central to this vision is HONOR’s MagicRing technology, which empowers a cohesive ecosystem across diverse products, apps, and services.
MagicRing facilitates a seamless multi-device AI experience, enabling secure and effortless information flow across devices. For instance, with Windows on Snapdragon, users can transform simple sketches into intricate artwork using Cocreator on their HONOR MagicPad 2 with the Magic Pencil. The integration extends further, allowing users to utilize the HONOR Magic V3’s AI Eraser on the HONOR MagicBook Art 14, creating a consistent AI-powered experience across devices.
