The much-loved ABS-CBN Studios series returns with its second season, featuring the trending love team of Harvey Bautista and Criza, along with their entire Zoomkada, as they tackle more conflicts and issues faced by Gen Z in the new season of “Zoomers.”
In the first season, characters Jiggs (Harvey), Hope (Criza), Kokoy (Luke Alford), Atom (Ralph de Leon), and Tanya (Krystl Ball) captivated Filipino viewers by supporting each other through various challenges. The show addressed relevant issues such as drugs, bullying, mental health, and bisexuality. Netizens praised the resilience and passion of Harvey, Criza, and the rest of the Zoomers cast, noting their growth from auditions to becoming the series’ lead stars.
Criza expressed her gratitude for the support they received in the first season: “We were really surprised since it was our first time leading a series. Even though we had high hopes, we were still shocked by how much people loved what we created together.”
Harvey added, “We are all very thankful to be here at the media conference for season 2. It is very exciting that we can continue the stories of the Zoomers. I’m happy to be with Direk Kevin and the rest of the cast in season 2.”
Besides the new season, Harvey, Ralph, Luis Vera Perez, and Kei Kurosawa shared their gratitude for being part of other primetime series on ABS-CBN after starring in “Zoomers.” The cast also teased fans about seeing another side of their characters in season 2.
In the newest season, the Gen Z barkada spends their last summer together before heading to college. Jiggs joins his first directing competition, hoping to win the cash prize for Hope, who continues to find ways to pursue college. Meanwhile, Tanya and Kokoy face love-related problems. Tanya must choose between rekindling her old fling with Faye (Kei) or exploring a new connection with her bestie, Juniper (Hadiyah Santos). Kokoy must step up his game to win Mika’s heart as her childhood friend, played by Argel Saycon, returns. Atom will confront a ghost from his past when he meets Dino (Luis) at the resort while also getting a chance to grow closer to Beth (Zabel Lamberth).
See if they can hold on together as more problems arise, all while dealing with the mysterious man named Lone Wolf haunting them.
Directed by Kevin Alambra, the second season also welcomes Zach Castañeda to the cast.
