Michelle Agatep-Bayhon, MPA also appointed Managing Director of IMC agency
Grupo Agatep Inc., a leading independent integrated marketing communication agency in the Philippines, has announced the appointment of Norman Agatep, APR, as its new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Agatep, who previously served as the agency’s Managing Director and President, brings over 30 years of experience in Corporate and Marketing Communication. With a wealth of expertise in Public Relations, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Creative Development, and Strategic Planning, he is poised to lead the agency into a new era of growth and innovation. Prior to joining Grupo Agatep, Agatep held leadership roles at Euro RSCG Manila and Havas Worldwide Manila as Managing Director.

Throughout his career, Agatep has held leadership positions in key industry organizations. He has served as President of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), President of the Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP), Chairman of the Ad Standards Council (ASC), and Chairman and President of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As). Agatep is currently Vice President-External of PRSP, Treasurer of the 4As, trustee of the ASC, and a board director for the Global Alliance for PR and Communication Management in the Asia-Pacific region. He is also a lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University, where he teaches Public Relations and Strategic Planning.
Agatep holds degrees in Management and Communication from Ateneo de Manila University.

Michelle Agatep-Bayhon, MPA, will assume the role of Managing Director. A seasoned PR and communication professional with over 20 years of experience, Agatep-Bayhon specializes in reputation management, corporate communication, and integrated marketing strategies. She joined the agency in 2001 and has since held key positions, including Accounts and Client Servicing Director. Agatep-Bayhon previously served as Board Secretary for PRSP and played a vital role in increasing membership and facilitating learning sessions for PR professionals. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and a Bachelor’s in Communication Arts from Lyceum of the Philippines University, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Agatep-Bayhon’s appointment marks a significant step forward for the agency as it seeks to strengthen client relationships and drive strategic initiatives that elevate brand communication.
