However, many schools in underserved areas continue to face connectivity challenges. To address this issue, Globe has extended its support to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) MATATAG Agenda, which focuses on enhancing the delivery of basic education facilities and services in remote regions of the Philippines.
As part of its commitment, Globe recently donated 100 Home Prepaid WiFi units to DepEd, ensuring that schools in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and Region 1 have access to affordable, fast, and reliable internet connectivity through Globe Home Prepaid WiFi.
By bringing technology and internet access closer to teachers and students, Globe aims to facilitate better and more efficient learning experiences. High-speed internet connectivity empowers teachers and students to access digital textbooks, multimedia learning materials, and engage in collaborative online activities. This comprehensive approach enables students to receive a more enriching and meaningful education, while also fostering the development of vital digital literacy skills necessary for success in the 21st century.
