Gigi De Lana and The Gigi VIbes had a Live Online Media Conference last Tuesday about their upcoming Domination Concert that will happen on Saturday, March 5, at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre in Resorts World Manila and will also be streaming live on KTX.PH.
The “Domination” concert is ABS-CBN’s first on-ground concert with live audiences to be present since the Pandemic began in 2020. Fans all around the World who cannot attend live should not worry because the concert will also be streaming live on KTX.ph.
Gigi and the band shared a lot of things about their journey, their experiences, and of course, their upcoming Domination Concert but just minutes in, they already gave the audience a nice surprise by enthusiastically introducing their new guitarist, Oyus, on air for the very first time!
The band also shared that one of the reasons why they called the concert as “Domination” concert is because they wanted to dominate happiness all over the world.
“Yung first [na} maadvice namin sa mga aspiring musicians, singers, [and] artists [is to] never stop. Wag kayong titigil sa mga bagay na gusto niyong mangyari sa buhay niyo… Yung goals niyo, and surround yourself with people na alam niyong tutulungan kayo and your loyalty to them and their loyalty to you is very very important kasi yung loyalty di mo yan mahahanap kung saan-saan” – Gigi De Lana on her advice to aspiring artists.
Gigi is also having a great streak of success since becoming a breakthrough star of 2021. From getting featured as one of the performing artists in 1MX Dubai last December, to starting the year with a bang with the release of her self-titled debut album featuring her hit single “Sakalam”, to giving a great performance to various projects that also made headlines, and now, going on concert and tours.
