“I learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Sounds familiar? Or maybe AFGITMOLFM rings a louder bell? I’m sure it does because pilosopotasya always slaps.
Rayne Mariano is known for her TagLish & serialized online stories from shorts to novels & series. Most of her works are in the slice of life genre that delves in human morality and has a target audience of young adults to adults. With more than a decade in online writing, she has already written and published more than 11 titles under her pseudonym pilosopotasya.
She is a Multimedia Arts graduate from APC and a freelance editor and graphic designer before she started working for Wattpad this 2021. She was part of the Liwayway Magazine February 2019 issue as Bagong Manunulat and had a published book included in the June 2018 National Bookstore’s Bestsellers list. If you think that’s impressive, wait ’til you find out that one of her works, AFGITMOLFM even got a tv adaptation that aired on TV5 under their Wattpad Presents series. Talk about dreams come true!
She is a producer and project manager of two book anthologies featuring 50+ amateur and professional writers. She mentors aspiring authors, editors and book designers during her free time. She’s been a judge for writing contests since 2012, and a public speaker/panelist for several writing talks and events since 2016 as well. Oh, did I mention that she’s also the founder of the #GuiltyReads community?
She might not be releasing new stories right now, but she’s definitely doing God’s work by producing and inspiring more writers to tell and create a version of their own universe. It may take a while before she blesses us with another story but fear not, all of her works are all still available online and on all major bookstores nationwide. So, while we are all waiting, let’s all reread all of our favorite stories of hers and reminisce on our little Wattpad childhood with her.
