Geraldine Discovers Empowerment Through Heartbreak in Debut Single “If I Will Ever Love Again”

Emerging artist Geraldine Jennings is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the release of her debut single, “If I Will Ever Love Again,” under Star Music.

Written by Ogie Alcasid, the poignant track delves into the heartache of a difficult breakup and the uncertainty of whether one can muster the courage to love again.

Geraldine expressed her emotions upon first hearing the song and her excitement about launching her career with Star Music. “It’s about loving someone and the feeling of heartbreak, which I’m sure many people can relate to. I wanted to infuse a sense of empowerment towards the end of the song, conveying that you can love again,” the new Kapamilya artist shared.

“I’m incredibly grateful and thrilled to be part of Star Music. It’s a highly respected company, so being able to debut my first single with them feels like a dream come true,” she added.

The music video for “If I Will Ever Love Again,” released on September 20, features Geraldine alongside Filipino-German model Kirk Bondad.

From a young age, the aspiring singer-actress was captivated by live performances, which fueled her passion for music and led her to enroll in musical theater singing classes. “As a child, I loved watching performances, concerts, and films on television. From then on, I knew I wanted to perform on stage in front of people,” she recalled.

Geraldine showcased her exceptional talent as the youngest finalist in the British singing competition “Teenstar UK” and won the Future Music Development Award at the Open Mic 2020 competition held at the O2 Arena in London. She cites Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, and Katy Perry as her musical influences.
