Generali Life Assurance Philippines, Inc. (Generali Philippines) is delighted to announce the selection of Dr. Hak Hong Soo as the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Before taking on the role of CEO at Generali Philippines, Dr. Soo served as the Regional Head of Health and was a distinguished Executive Member of the International – Asia Regional Office. In this influential position, Dr. Soo spearheaded the efforts of the International – Asia Business Unit, fortifying the regional health sector and propelling the firm’s strategic business transformation. He also boasts a Ph.D. in Insurance, Economics, and Econometrics, and holds the esteemed status of an Associate Member of the Society of Actuaries.
Dr. Soo brings to the table a wealth of comprehensive technical and managerial prowess, spanning across product proposition and pricing, actuarial health portfolio and financial management, health business value chains, network and customer relations, and collaborations throughout the Asia region.
He takes over the reins from Reynaldo Centeno, who formally announced his retirement on December 31, 2022.
