In a remarkable display of health and fitness enthusiasts coming together, Gatorade solidifies its position as the leading hydration beverage for health-conscious consumers with its revolutionary product, Gatorade No Sugar. This groundbreaking achievement was realized when the brand shattered the Guinness World Record for the largest aerobic weight training class.
The extraordinary event, aptly named Gatorade No Sugar Sweat Fest, attracted over a thousand participants to the SM MOA grounds in Pasay City. Surpassing the previous record of 978 participants, an impressive count of 1,308 individuals established a new world record.
Leading the charge was none other than acclaimed actress and the face of Gatorade No Sugar, Kathryn Bernardo. A fitness enthusiast herself, Kathryn expressed her gratitude for the collaboration with Gatorade No Sugar, stating, “I am truly honored to be part of the Gatorade team. When I engage in physical activities, Gatorade No Sugar is my perfect companion. It keeps me well-hydrated, makes exercising enjoyable, and, best of all, it contains no sugar and no calories. Plus, it tastes amazing!”
Each participant at the event received a Gatorade No Sugar sweatshirt that unveiled a hidden message as it became saturated with sweat. This message emphasized the significance of proper hydration during sports, fitness activities, and an active lifestyle.
“When we sweat from physical activities, we lose more than just water,” explained Ray Philip Pine, PepsiCo Marketing Director. “We also lose vital electrolytes and minerals like sodium and potassium, which are essential for optimal functioning. Gatorade No Sugar replenishes and rehydrates the body with all the necessary electrolytes, without any sugar or calories.”
Hydrating with Gatorade provides the body with the fuel and energy required to perform at its peak. Moreover, with zero sugar and calories, it is the ideal beverage for health-conscious individuals leading active lives.
In addition to setting the new world record, the festival featured coaches and fitness experts who shared valuable insights on hydration and overall well-being. Esteemed partners, such as the Gatorade Sports Science Institute and the Philippine Society of Nutritionist-Dietitians, were among those invited to contribute their expertise.
“The Sweat Fest is a momentous occasion, not only for Gatorade No Sugar but also for the country,” Pine remarked. “We have not only demonstrated our ability to set a Guinness world record by bringing like-minded individuals together, but more importantly, we have conveyed the importance of proper hydration to fitness enthusiasts—an aspect that often goes overlooked.”
Gatorade No Sugar is available in two refreshing flavors: Citrus Quench and Blue Bolt. It can now be found in leading supermarkets, convenience stores, and online shopping platforms nationwide.
