Foot Locker, a retailer with an iconic reputation in the sneaker and youth culture space officially opened its first “Power Store” in the Philippines through a partnership with PT Map Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk. (MAPA). The first “Power Store” is located at Glorietta, Makati City and officially opened today 16 December 2022.
The Foot Locker “Power Store”, which is located on the 2nd floor of Glorietta 3, boasts 1,435 square-meters of retail space. It features a “Foot Locker for her” lounge area and a dedicated Kids area, making it a perfect destination for the entire family. With special interactive zones and a dedicated area for basketball products, this outlet is expected to be the hub for local sneaker culture, art, music and sports. Foot Locker will bring closer access and provide convenience for Filipino consumers who would like to shop the world’s best sneaker brands. In addition, Foot Locker will launch its official website www.footlocker.ph for the Philippine market to facilitate consumers’ access to online shopping.
Aligned with its purpose, which is to inspire and empower sneaker culture, Foot Locker Philippines looks forward to supporting and engaging local sneaker, dance, basketball and local sports communities, both for its pre-opening activities and moving forward.
To provide a unique, new experience for consumers, Foot Locker teamed up with local illustratorand artist @GoRaiseHell by Raizel Go to create an artistic touch to the visual elements of the Glorietta “Power Store”. Additionally, local photographer Jilson Tiu collaborated with Foot Locker to feature urban Filipino scenery in the store.
