Leading online food and grocery platform Foodpanda recently launched its pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels initiative, which aims to connect with and support its Ka-panda delivery partners across several provinces and cities nationwide.
This exciting new initiative involves a pink-colored Foodpanda-branded bus that will make stops at select gas stations, offering fun and interactive games and activities for Ka-panda partners who ride bikes, e-scooters, or walk.
The roadshow kicked off in Metro Manila in April and will travel to various provinces and areas in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao until the end of the year.
The pandaPatrol coaster not only offers engaging games and activities for Ka-pandas, but it also serves as a support hub where they can meet with Foodpanda representatives to raise any concerns they may have on the spot.
The team can then provide appropriate solutions to their queries, whether it be technical issues with their accounts, assistance with their delivery sessions, or feedback for process improvement.
Aside from fun games and on-the-spot assistance, the pandaPatrol also offers exclusive merchandise and other items from the Bamboo points, Foodpanda’s rewards program for partner riders. Furthermore, interested applicants can apply on the spot to become a part of the Ka-panda community.
On-ground booths for rider support and assistance are also available during the roadshow, so Ka-pandas can learn about and avail of the several initiatives and services at their disposal.
Bolstering support & engagement for Ka-pandas
Foodpanda is continuously providing support to its Ka-pandas through various initiatives and programs. Recently, the company concluded its annual panda legends online tournament, which brought together partner riders for a friendly competition and a chance to win amazing prizes.
Additionally, Foodpanda sealed a partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to help its delivery partners gain access to the government’s social security programs and benefits.
The company also launched a campaign to match every tip received by riders on the app, showing appreciation for their hard work. During the campaign period, riders earned twice the amount of tips, with 100% of the amount fully credited to their accounts.
According to foodpanda Philippines operations director Patricia Jacinto, creating a positive and engaging environment for the company’s hardworking Ka-pandas is always a top priority. “We believe that it’s not just about delivering food but also about providing happiness and support for them,” she said.
The pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels initiative reinforces Foodpanda’s commitment to supporting and assisting its delivery partners while driving engagement for its Ka-pandas. So if you spot the pandaPatrol in your local area, be sure to give them a wave and a smile to show your support for these dedicated delivery partners who bring joy to your doorstep.
