HONOR successfully launched the HONOR 200 Series in the Philippines on July 17, positioning it against other midrange smartphones. The HONOR 200 features the Harcourt Portrait Mode, inspired by the prestigious Harcourt Studio in Paris.
The new flagship comes in two models, the HONOR 200 and HONOR 200 Pro. The HONOR 200 Pro boasts an impressive 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with 4000 nits brightness and HONOR Eye Comfort Display, surpassing the Oppo Reno12’s 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz display with 1200 nits brightness.
In terms of performance, the HONOR 200 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, achieving an average Antutu score of 1,500,000, compared to the Oppo Reno12 Pro’s MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which scores around 650,000.
For camera quality, the HONOR 200 Pro features a 50MP Wide Main Camera with OIS, a 50MP Telephoto with OIS, a 12MP Ultrawide and Macro Camera with EIS, and a 50MP Selfie Camera, all enhanced by Harcourt Portrait Mode for studio-like photos. The Oppo Reno12 Pro offers a similar setup with a 50MP Wide Main Camera with OIS, a 50MP Telephoto, a 12MP Ultrawide Camera, and a 50MP Selfie Camera.
Additionally, the HONOR 200 Series provides added value with a free pair of JBL Soundgear Frames worth Php 9,499 during the pre-order phase.
