An increasing number of Filipinos are tuning into ABS-CBN’s YouTube livestreams, with annual watch time hours surging by an average of 85% since 2020.
ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel has seen impressive growth, with Filipinos watching 554.9 million hours of content on smart TVs, surpassing the 549.6 million hours viewed on mobile devices.
Kapamilya Online Live, which streams ABS-CBN’s programming 24/7 across Asia, Australia, Europe, and New Zealand, is a major driver of this growth. It accounts for 61%—or 539.8 million hours—of the total live viewing hours from these regions on smart TVs.
The channel offers a diverse range of content, including the nightly newscast “TV Patrol,” Coco Martin’s action-packed “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” Piolo Pascual’s dramatic “Pamilya Sagrado,” and Andrea Brillantes’ intriguing “High Street.”
“It’s Showtime,” the popular noontime show, keeps viewers entertained with continuous fun and engaging segments. Notably, the segment “EXpecially For You,” which features ex-couples exploring new relationships, remains a viewer favorite for its insightful take on love and relationships.
Launched in 2020, Kapamilya Online Live provides livestreaming and on-demand access to the latest episodes of ABS-CBN shows both in the Philippines and abroad. The ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel, the top YouTube channel in Southeast Asia in the media and entertainment category with 48 million subscribers, serves as the platform for this extensive content offering.
