Filipino Flavors Take Center Stage: Mang Inasal and DOT Team Up

Mang Inasal and the Department of Tourism (DOT) have teamed up to promote the “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” campaign, encouraging locals and tourists to discover the country’s rich and diverse culinary heritage. The collaboration was solidified through a Memorandum of Agreement aimed at highlighting the role of Filipino cuisine in creating unforgettable travel experiences.

“For over 20 years, Mang Inasal has witnessed how Filipino food fosters meaningful connections between visitors and their experiences in the Philippines,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro. “This partnership with the DOT excites us as it transforms every meal into a reason for tourists to return. We’re eager to make their journeys more enjoyable, memorable, and flavorful through Mang Inasal.”

The partnership was officially launched at the DOT headquarters in Makati City, attended by Mang Inasal executives and key DOT representatives, including Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.

“As the DOT works to enhance the global appeal of Philippine tourism, we remain deeply rooted in our identity,” shared Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco. “Mang Inasal is the perfect partner for this endeavor—a homegrown brand that has brought immense pride to our nation through its achievements over the years. Beyond filling countless stomachs, Mang Inasal has brought joy to hearts and strengthened family bonds around the dining table.”

Under the “Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines” campaign, regional festivals will take center stage, celebrating gastronomy tourism and inviting both locals and travelers to savor the country’s culinary treasures. More exciting initiatives are set to be unveiled in 2025 through the official online platforms of Mang Inasal and the DOT.
