Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, celebrated its 40th anniversary in the Philippines with a charity fun run in collaboration with the local non-profit Noah’s Ark Dog and Cat Shelter to raise awareness for animal protection.
Aligning with the FedEx cultural value “commit to do good,” over 600 runners, including customers, team members, and their families, gathered at the Clark Parade Grounds to participate in the 3-kilometer and 5-kilometer events. Participants were also encouraged to bring their pets.
“Our commitment to the Philippines over the last 40 years extends beyond supporting local businesses; it encompasses making a positive impact on local communities,” said Maribeth Espinosa, Managing Director of FedEx Philippines. “This fun run offers our customers and team members a chance to enjoy quality time with their families and pets while supporting a great cause. Our mission is to connect people and possibilities around the world in responsible and resourceful ways, creating a better world.”
“We deeply appreciate FedEx for inviting us to be part of this remarkable event,” said Leah Ibuna, owner and founder of Noah’s Ark Dog and Cat Shelter. “We are also grateful for the opportunity to help our animals find lifelong homes.”
