“When it comes to capturing good photos, the top priorities are ‘capturing emotions’, followed by ‘lighting your background’, and then the editing process,” remarked Suleik, offering insightful tips. He emphasized the importance of taking numerous photos to discover what resonates visually. “Don’t feel pressured to take perfect shots right away. It takes time, and it’s all about finding your own style,” he added.
Ducay echoed Suleik’s sentiment, advising beginners to snap as many photos as possible to refine their skills. He also provided two practical tips: “Experiment with different angles and viewpoints rather than sticking to one perspective,” and “When photographing people, focus on making them feel beautiful and empowered.”
Ultimately, both photographers emphasize the importance of practice, experimentation, and making subjects feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
