The Philippine Circuit dog show is back for its 8th edition, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet. With a total of 8,412 entries, including 5,892 from the Philippines and 2,520 from 16 countries around the world, this is an event not to be missed.
The show will feature a panel of 17 international judges, led by Mr. Tamas Jakkel of Hungary, the President of the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale).
This edition of the Philippine Circuit is particularly special as it marks the kickoff event for the PCCI’s 60th anniversary celebration.
During the show, the PCCI will launch a limited edition coffee table book called “60 Years of Purebred Dogs in the Philippines: The PCCI Legacy,” which highlights the purebred dogs that have made their mark in the country and the personalities that have shaped the purebred dog fancy. Another highlight of the show will be a short program introducing the Philippine Forest Dog, or “Asong Gubat,” which has the potential to become the first FCI-recognized dog breed from the Philippines.
