For the first time, Evian and Balmain join forces in a trailblazing partnership, driven by their shared goal of dreaming big and innovating for future generations.
Their partnership is showcased in the upcoming Limited-Edition 75cl glass bottle designed with Balmain, set to be released in October 2022. The bottle features Balmain’s signature Baroque embellishments, adding a touch of drama and opulence to Creative Director Olivier Rousteing’s collections.
The iconic water brand has created a one-of-a-kind fabric made from recycled Evian plastic bottles, which was transformed into a modern couture piece by Rousteing and the skilled artisans at the historic Parisian fashion house.
The Evian x Balmain couture gown was unveiled at the Balmain Festival during Paris Fashion Week on September 28th, 2022.
evian has partnered with Parisian fashion house Balmain for its latest designer collaboration. Both brands, with roots in the French Alps, aim to explore new horizons and redefine fashion codes. To mark the partnership, evian will release a limited-edition 75cl glass bottle in October 2022 featuring Balmain’s Baroque details and gold lettering.
The two brands also collaborated on a couture gown, made from recycled evian plastic bottle waste, with Creative Director Olivier Rousteing leading the design. The fabric, made from 46% recycled plastic, meets the high standards of the Global Recycled Standard Certificate. The gown, which emphasizes the purity and power of water, will debut on Balmain’s runway during Paris Fashion Week.
Balmain’s Creative Director, Rousteing, believes that the fashion industry needs to take responsibility for past shortcomings and embrace sustainable solutions. evian’s Global Director, Dawid Borowiec, says the evian x Balmain collaboration showcases the intersection of innovation, design, and sustainability.
