Epson Philippines celebrated a double celebration with the theme “Unlock the Future” to commemorate its 25th year in the Philippines. The event marked the opening of the company’s new Philippine headquarters in Pasig City and the unveiling of their latest heat-free business inkjet printers. The headquarters features solution centers to support Epson’s growth in the B2B market.
Enabling growth and development in the Philippine market
Epson Philippines celebrated a significant milestone with the launch of its new headquarters in Pasig City. The event marked the company’s 25th year in the Philippines and its commitment to contributing to the growth of the local market and improving Filipino lives through innovative solutions. The new headquarters, which houses Solution Centers, is designed to provide customers and partners with easy access to all of Epson’s products.
President of Epson Philippines, Masako Kusama, stated, “Our move to the new office has brought all of our resources under one roof, making it easier for customers and partners to access all of our products at our Solution Center. From our new headquarters, we will be working towards a more sustainable future by introducing breakthrough solutions that will revolutionize the way customers conduct business.”
Keeping sustainability at the forefront of innovation
Sustainability has been a core part of Epson’s values and operations, and the company recognizes the need for businesses to take action towards a greener future. To further drive its efforts, Epson has formed a partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to work on projects related to marine conservation, climate change education, and sustainable production systems.
Epson has also taken steps to make its operations more sustainable, including transitioning its Philippines plant to run on 100% renewable energy. The company is also committed to creating products and services that use resources efficiently and reduce their impact on the environment. This is evident in their heat-free technology, which not only benefits their customers but also helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
According to Koichi Kubota, Director of Seiko Epson Corporation, “Epson is dedicated to addressing the environmental challenges we face, and our heat-free technology is just one example of our commitment to making a difference.”
Ushering in the new era of printing in the B2B space
The pressing issue of climate change is top of mind for many young professionals, and the workplace can play a crucial role in addressing it. Although the trend towards paperless offices is growing, paper demand remains. In response, Epson is aligning its products with sustainable initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
Epson recently unveiled the Workforce Enterprise AM Series, its latest range of heat-free business inkjet printers for the mid-speed market. This addition to its lineup demonstrates Epson’s commitment to offering environmentally conscious printing solutions to businesses of all sizes. With Heat-Free technology, the new series balances innovation and sustainability, offering more efficient ink usage, lower costs, and a smaller footprint.
The Workforce Enterprise AM Series is expected to be available in the Philippines in Q1 2023, with three models: AM-C4000, C5000, and C6000. In addition to this launch, Epson has also announced that it will cease the sale and distribution of laser printer hardware in the Southeast Asia region by the end of 2023, as part of its promise to provide even more productive, efficient, and sustainable printing solutions.
At the event to mark its 25th year in the Philippines, Epson also celebrated the official opening of its new Philippine headquarters, complete with Solution Centers. Siew Jin Kiat, Epson Southeast Asia Regional Managing Director, led the ceremony, unlocking the future and celebrating the company’s position as the leader in sustainable printing solutions. “We are proud to have arrived at this moment and look forward to a bright future,” said Kiat.
