The latest generation of SureColor T-Series printers achieves an impressive print speed of 23 seconds per A1 sheet in CAD mode – the fastest speed in its class compared to products within Epson’s 44” SureColor T-Series range. This remarkable speed aids businesses in achieving higher productivity rates with each print. Moreover, businesses can expect outstanding print quality as the new SureColor T-Series models are equipped with Epson’s latest 2.64-inch PrecisionCore printhead. This technology ensures exceptional image quality, precise plotting with high-precision line detail, and minimum line widths as thin as 0.018mm.
To minimize downtime during media changes, the Epson SureColor SC-T7730D, SC-T7730DL, SC-T7730DM, SC-T5730D, SC-T5730DM, SC-T3730D, and SC-T3730DE feature a dual-roll function with auto-switching and a take-up reel for continuous high-volume printing. This feature ensures uninterrupted print production by avoiding disruptions caused by roll changes. Additionally, the SureColor T-Series printers support poster board media and cut-sheet printing, enhancing media handling efficiency and workflow.
The SC-T5730DM and SC-T7730DM models also offer multi-functionality, allowing users to copy, enlarge, or digitize large documents up to 36 inches wide. Furthermore, these models boast the fastest scan speed in the SureColor T-series printers, at 4.5 ips in color and 10 ips in mono, compared to their predecessor, the SC-T5270/T7270 series. Scanning via software is supported with Epson Scan 2 and Document Capture Pro workflow solutions, ensuring enhanced quality, convenience, and security.
The new SureColor T-Series printers utilize Epson’s UltraChrome XD3 6-Color pigment ink set, delivering vibrant colors and crisp lines on virtually any paper type. With water, smudge, and fade-resistant qualities, these printers are designed for long-term usage in various environments. The inclusion of red ink enables users to print rich and vivid images with high color saturation, making it ideal for Point-Of-Purchase (POP) signs, professional posters, blueprints, and more.
For direct and hot-folder batch printing, as well as secure PDF printing, the SC-T7730D, SC-T7730DL, SC-T7730DM, SC-T5730D, SC-T5730DM, and SC-T3730D printers feature an Adobe embedded print engine for compatibility with Adobe PostScript. They allow for accurate reproduction of PDF files and detailed fine line printing of technical CAD documents and blueprints. Business owners can also opt for the optional Raster Image Processor (RIP) software, Epson Edge Print, a user-friendly solution that ensures excellent print output with exceptional color accuracy. As the first model in the market to embrace this system, it significantly reduces the environmental impact of recycling and logistics, aiding businesses in achieving their environmental goals. The system utilizes 1600ml ink packs instead of traditional high-yield 700ml ink cartridges, enhancing efficiency by reducing the frequency of ink replacement. Additionally, the larger ink packs cater to high-volume printing needs, ensuring uninterrupted printing. With less plastic per ink pack compared to ink cartridges, it presents a more environmentally sustainable option for businesses.
Robust Security Features
The latest SureColor T-series printers fulfill stringent security requirements through features like authentication printing and encrypted SSD, ensuring robust security management. The self-encrypting SSD enhances performance and facilitates the handling of large print data. With 960GB of additional storage memory, users can create folders for PC-less production printing, with data secured by AES-256 encryption and protected by a TPM chip. Furthermore, users have the option to implement password protection for specific folders within the built-in storage.
Enhanced security measures extend to authentication options through Epson Print Admin solutions or integration with third-party solutions via Epson Open Platform.
