Emirates Adds Three New Cities to its Expanding Global Network

  • Emirates becomes first Middle Eastern carrier to operate daily to Shenzhen from July 1, 2025, extending its presence to four Chinese mainland gateways including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou
  • New linked service between Da Nang and Siem Reap via Bangkok offers multiple, convenient weekly services to both leisure destinations

Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is set to enhance its presence in Asia with the launch of new routes, further strengthening connectivity between Dubai and key destinations in China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Starting July 1, 2025, Emirates will introduce daily non-stop flights to Shenzhen, a leading global technology and innovation hub. Additionally, the airline will launch four weekly flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, from June 2, and three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia, from June 3, both operating via Bangkok.

With these additions, Emirates now boasts the largest and most diverse East Asia route network among non-Asian airlines, offering 269 weekly flights from Dubai to 24 destinations. Shenzhen becomes the airline’s fourth gateway into mainland China, while Da Nang and Siem Reap mark its third and second destinations in Vietnam and Cambodia, respectively.

Strengthening Global Connectivity

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the significance of this expansion:

“We are committed to providing business and leisure travelers with greater access to Southeast Asia and beyond. Our new service to Shenzhen will open doors for business and economic exchange, while our expansion into Vietnam aligns with growing trade partnerships. Additionally, our new Siem Reap flights will enhance tourism access to Angkor Wat, one of Cambodia’s most iconic destinations. These routes will offer customers greater flexibility, premium in-flight experiences, and seamless connectivity across our global network.”

Shenzhen: A Strategic Addition

Emirates becomes the first Middle Eastern carrier to operate a daily flight to Shenzhen, further solidifying its two-decade partnership with China since launching flights to Shanghai in 2002. The new service enhances connectivity to key business hubs in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the U.S., and South America.

The route will also introduce Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER to China, featuring:
First Class private suites
40 lie-flat Business Class seats
Premium Economy cabin
Enhanced Economy Class experience

Additionally, Emirates SkyCargo will play a vital role in supporting Shenzhen’s booming technology and e-commerce exports, transporting up to 10 tonnes of cargo per flight.

Expanding Reach in Vietnam and Cambodia

Emirates’ new services to Da Nang and Siem Reap will provide seamless access to Europe, the U.S., and key destinations worldwide through Dubai and Bangkok.

Flight Details:

  • Da Nang: Four weekly flights (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) via Bangkok
  • Siem Reap: Three weekly flights (Tue, Thu, Sat) via Bangkok

Both routes will be operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, offering Business and Economy Class comfort. Premium travelers can also enjoy Emirates’ exclusive lounge experience in Bangkok before connecting flights.
