“i remember the taste of your tongue”

Critically acclaimed electronic music producer and artist Elephante is set to release his highly anticipated full-length album, COPE, on November 29th via his label, Hidden Horizon. The album delves into themes of healing and resilience, offering an introspective journey through the emotional landscapes of trauma and recovery.

Focus Single: “Taste of Your Tongue” ft. babyidontlikeyou

Leading the album is the evocative single “Taste of Your Tongue” featuring babyidontlikeyou. The track captures the bittersweet allure of nostalgia and the complexities of flawed relationships. “The song is about looking back at an old relationship with rose-colored glasses,” Elephante explains. “As time passes, we tend to forget the bad and idealize the good, sometimes making mistakes trying to relive that magic. And sometimes, you just say, ‘screw it,’ and dive into something you know you shouldn’t.”

Blending his signature electronic production with emotionally charged storytelling, “Taste of Your Tongue” features punchy beats and shimmering synths that encapsulate both the exhilaration and regret tied to revisiting past emotions.

Mark Your Calendar

With COPE, Elephante pushes the boundaries of his genre-blending artistry, crafting a soundscape that resonates with the highs and lows of personal growth. The album promises to be a defining moment in his career, combining introspective themes with cutting-edge production.

Elephante’s upcoming album, COPE, is a deeply personal and thematic exploration of how we navigate life’s toughest challenges. “The album is called COPE because it’s about the many ways we deal with trauma and difficult moments,” Elephante explains. “Each track represents a different approach to coping, whether through nostalgia, catharsis, or reflection.”

The album invites listeners on a nuanced emotional journey, blending raw introspection with Elephante’s ever-evolving sonic palette. From poignant melodies to cathartic beats, COPE showcases his ability to connect deeply with audiences while continuing to push the boundaries of electronic music.

From Corporate America to Music Stardom

Born to Taiwanese immigrants, Elephante’s upbringing in Michigan was both unique and isolating. After graduating from Harvard University, he embarked on a corporate career at a prestigious consulting firm—a path he quickly realized wasn’t for him. A Career of Milestones

Elephante’s catalog includes his critically acclaimed debut album, Heavy Glow (2021), which pushed the boundaries of dance music, as well as two successful EPs: I Am the Elephante (2016), a genre-blending exploration of progressive house, synthpop, and trap, and Glass Mansion (2018), which topped the iTunes U.S. Dance chart.

He has headlined three sold-out national tours and performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, including EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Beyond Wonderland, Lollapalooza, and 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival.

In early 2023, Elephante collaborated with electro-pop artist HALIENE on “Hollow” and followed it with “No Explanations”, a cross-cultural effort featuring Indonesian singer-songwriter Stephanie Poetri and Chinese artist Zhang Yanqi.

Championing Asian-American Talent

Elephante’s impact extends beyond his music. In March 2024, he launched Hidden Horizon, a label dedicated to supporting and uplifting Asian and Asian-American DJs, musicians, and producers. Following a sold-out launch party during Miami Music Week, Hidden Horizon has already made waves in the industry.

Elephante’s mission to amplify underrepresented voices in dance music aligns with his roots and his commitment to building a more inclusive musical landscape.

A Vision for the Future

As 2024 unfolds, Elephante continues to showcase his versatility, blending diverse styles while staying true to his core. With more groundbreaking projects and collaborations on the horizon, Elephante is proving that his journey is only just beginning.
