Over the course of two weeks, participants will delve into the fundamentals of playwriting and explore various aspects of theater production. They will have the opportunity to engage with the featured playwrights of VLF 19: Pintog and interact with industry leaders.
Aligned with the CCP’s mission to help young playwrights discover their artistic voices, the VLF Writing Fellowship Program will offer lectures, script critiques, writing sessions, and interactions with renowned playwrights and directors.
The fellowship program will culminate with the Fellowship Showcase, directed by CCP artistic director Dennis N. Marasigan, on June 30 at 5 pm at the Bulwagang Roberto Chabet, 3/F Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez. This showcase will feature staged readings of the fellows’ final works.
