TFC@theMovies is back again with another family movie that will definitely touch your heart. Acclaimed director, John D. Lazatin, for the 2nd time to collaborate with comedian Pokwang, brings to Filipinos the movie “Edsa Woolworth”. After it’s successful debut in North America last November 2014, the movie will be now shown in Philippine cinemas nationwide starting this January 14, 2015.
ABS-CBN Star Cinema’s first offering for 2015, “Edsa Woolworth” is a story about love and compassion surrounding a mixed Filipino American family faced with challenges.
The title role Edsa Woolworth is played by comedienne Pokwang with actor Lee O’Brian playing the role of Chad, her American love interest. Other cast includes Steven Spohn as Papa Frank, Ricci Chan as Edsa’s younger brother Boni, Prince Saruhan as their adopted brother Paco, TFC’s Adobo Nation co-host Lee Robin Salazar as Patrick the lawyer, Princess Ryan as Shayne and Vivian Foz as her mom Norma, and Joji Isla as Rudy, Paco’s real dad.
